Description: Julie is being forced to decide which Monster she wants to be before she is ready by her mother. She is unsure of herself. She is intelligent and seeks out intellectual conversations. Other people don't understand her. She likes to cook, crossword puzzles, and Humphrey Bogart. She longs to travel the world but if she becomes a vampire like her mom wants she will only be able to go in caves.

This is a puppet part. Must be ok with working with puppets. No experience necessary. You will be trained.

Ava Weezer (Puppet)

Description: Mother of Julie, she wants her daughter to become a vampire like she did so she can have a stable life. Her husband died and she has been lonely. She has a crush on Dave Werewolf that started back when they were both human. But she does not act on her feelings because Monsters are suppose to stick to thier own kind. She enjoys making quilts and watching jeopardy.

Description: Sam is Julie's best friend. She's a strong independent woman and doesn't want to be perceived as wimpy so she decides to become a werewolf. She is against Edwin's crush on Julie as Sam is in love with Edwin. She is a nerdy girl and plays the accordian. She and Julie tease Edwin about his lack of guys friend and his love of chamber music.

Edwin Boyd ( Puppet)

Description: Hapless young male friend of Julie. Guys are too rough and rowdy and he prefers to hang out with girls. He has a crush on Julie but he is terrible at flirting with her. He wears a suspender with a belt because he has a fear of his pants falling down. He decides to help Vladia get Julie's soul so that he can steal it from Vladia. If I can't have Julie's heart at least I can have her soul.

Mike Mummy (Puppet)

Description: Mike is an ancient mummy and leader of the mummy community. He is a singer/songwriter that plays acoustic guitar. Julie has a crush on him because he is exciting and has cool friends. But he is more in love with his music than with Julie and doesn't return her crush.

Description: Dave is the fun loving uncle type leader of the Werewolf community. He never settled down cause he always loved Ava. A huge fan of golf. He lives a lonely life but tries not to show it to other people. The highlight of his life is when it's a full moon that he and his buddies go play Moon golf.

Humphrey the Ghost (Puppet)

Description: Humphrey is the corny joke loving leader of the ghost community. He forgot his past and complains about how it sucks to be a ghost. He shares a love of puns with Julie. When someone has a good set up, Humphrey will run into the room to say the punchline. It is revealed later that he is in fact Julie's dead father. He was murdered by Vladia when he tried to do something out of love.

Nicky Wicky (Puppet)

Description: Nicky is one half of a pair of twins that work as minions for Vladia, queen of the vampires. His parents sold him and his sister to Vladia at a young age for 5 goats. He never had a real childhood. He has a secret subscription to Scientific American and has a secret love of science and technology. He knows that there is more out there but because they work for Vladia there isn't much they can do about it.

Description: Vicky is one half of a pair of twins that work as minions for Vladia, queen of the vampires. Her parents sold her and her brother to Vladia for 5 goats. She likes origami and makes beautiful things out of scraps of papers she finds. She dreams all day of being free. She writes to Oprah everyday in hopes that Oprah will save her and her brother because she helps poverty kids get a great life. She is obedient to Vladia but doesn't want to be.

Description: Vladia is queen of the vampires. She is as evil as she is sexy. She wishes she could have friends but only knows how to control people. When she was younger she was teased. But she soon learned that with a little push and a college education she could become queen vampire and not have to be anyone's bitch. She is forcing others to become vampires so she can steal their souls and use them to give her the ultimate power and control of Monster World.

Must be able to be sexy, pure evil and be able to be funny at the same time. Dark eyes that could pierce a man's soul. Long straight black hair.

Wardrobe: sexy goth chick. All black. vampire teeth. Short black skirt. tight black shirt or halter. or leather corset. Long black boots. Goth makeup ( black eyeliner, black lipstick, black nails.) Fishnets. or equivalent. Be prepared to be sexy and scary.
